Profile
Java backend developer, in year 3 of a Computer Engineering degree. I came to development from a driving school, where I ran a branch from 2023 to 2025. I took a web application for an external client into production, from the requirements to the release, and built a management system in Spring Boot on a modular architecture.

Full-stack developer

- Designed and built on my own the web application of a university guidance centre, in production: the site with the course catalogue and the CMS, Next.js and Payload on PostgreSQL.
- Built the CRM for sales contacts, with automated emails and push notifications.
- Managed the relationship with the client on my own, from the requirements to the release. Reference available.
Driving instructor and theory teacher
Driving school, Rome
- Ran a three-person branch on my own: lesson planning, exams, relations with students and families.
- About 150 students a year, with over 90% passing the exam. First commercial contact with prospective clients.
Projects
Driving school management system
A modular monolith on Spring Modulith serving several driving schools from one installation, with module boundaries checked by tests.
- Four domain roles - administration, office staff, instructor, student - with Spring Security and JWT authorisation. A domain taken from the sector I worked in.
- Rate limiting, caching, audit log, OpenAPI, Flyway migrations. Integration tests on a real PostgreSQL, not on mocks.
Travel agency management system
A Spring Boot app on MariaDB that started as a console and grew a web interface, with session login and BCrypt, PayPal payments and PDF tickets with QR codes.
